Preston Stein

Restoration Royalty Advisors was founded by Preston Stein, an experienced oil & gas attorney with over 14 years of experience in the Texas and New Mexico oil & gas markets. Preston is a licensed Texas attorney, graduating from the Texas A&M School of Law in 2011. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia (2007).

• Successfully oversaw as General Counsel a $100mm+ Private Equity Fund focused on mineral and royalty acquisitions in the Permian Basin.

• Managed and created exciting new revenue streams for a high net-worth family office in Midland, Texas.

• Owned and operated a professional land services company based out of Midland, Texas for four years, directing numerous landman and curative attorneys through multiple projects in multiple New Mexico and Texas Permian Basin counties.  Clients included Cimarex, Diamondback, Marathon, to name just a few.

• Over his career, he's been on the ground floor with mineral/royalty owners and operators alike, navigating legal issues prevalent amongst folks like yourself, and driving successful resolutions.

 

With extensive experience in all facets of the oil & gas industry, including legal, financial, and operational aspects, Preston provides expert guidance on the acquisition, verification, and disposition of mineral and royalty interests, exceeding $200 million in transactions throughout his career.
